CordeVi, the gastro-festival of the Pallars Jussà is born

CORDEVI, gastro-festival of the Pallars Jussà will fill the area with diverse and original gastronomical proposals related with the lamb meat and the local wines, but also with a much wider offer of products: liquors, beer, oil, saffron, charcuterie or ecological beef amongst others.

The aim of the festival is to promote and announce the very rich pallarese gastronomy  and the people and land that make it. And we do it in the very moment when several fairs, that already are a must for good food lovers, take place in the area.

In the festival you will be able to enjoy several gastro-experiences such as cattle treks with shepherds, tastings, gastronomic workshops, guided visits to the industries or meals in emblematic sites, amongst many proposals.

In the same time a big ammount of local bars and restaurants will be offering km0 menus with a 100% of local food. Besides, in the villages where fairs take place, restaurants will offer special “Fair Menus”.

The festival will land in la Pobla de Segur  it in two occasions. The first appointment is the Saturday 13th of October at the Oktoberfest that organises the CTretze Craft Brewery. The second takes place the weekend of the 20th-21st of October with a program includes a cooking workshop using Pyrenean liqueurs, a visit to a lamb flock and farm, a taste of extra virgin olive oils and a tasting of lamb-dishes paired with craft beers.

The CordeVi festival is organized by the Program “Al teu gust – Aliments del Pallars” subsidized by the Servei d’Ocupació de Catalunya in the frame of the programs of support to local development.
