Tender for the contract to supply electricity and water columns in the motorhome area

On 07.05.2025, the tender was published in the Contracting Profile of La Pobla de Segur City Council, for the contract for the supply of 2 electricity columns, 2 drinking water columns, and 1 emptying column to enable the motorhome service area. Action 6 of Axis 2 “Improving Energy Efficiency” of the Sustainable Tourism Destination Plan being implemented by La Pobla de Segur City Council, in the period 2023-2026.

This is a simplified, abbreviated open tender procedure, open to all bidders, with a total value of €28,115.00, excluding VAT. The deadline for submitting bids is May 21st at 6:00 p.m.

The City Council is reopening this tender within the subproject named “La Pobla de Segur: nature and sustainable active tourism” included in the Territorial Plan for Sustainable Tourism of Catalonia, through the extraordinary call for proposals in 2022, fully funded by the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan of the European Union-funded Recovery and Resilience Facility – Next Generation EU.

The purpose of this supply is to cover the cost of installing the columns to adapt the motorhome service area. A tender that has already been declared void in the past is now being separated from the other elements in a one-time supply the devices.

The project contributes to the adaptation of the motorhome reception area, taking into account the improvement of energy efficiency and the adaptation provisions established in Articles 213-21 to 213-31 and Annex 4 of Decree 75/2020, of August 4, on tourism in Catalonia.

“La Pobla de Segur: nature and sustainable active tourism”

The actions of the Sustainable Tourism Destination Plan are framed within the four priority axes related to the objectives of the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience plan financed by the European Union – Next Generation EU.

The PSTD is a comprehensive project that aims to enhance the riverfront and the Sant Antoni Reservoir through environmental restoration, promoting environmentally friendly public and tourist use, and incorporating a recreational space of interest to visitors throughout the year.

Regarding improving energy efficiency, actions are planned to promote sustainable mobility and adapt infrastructure to the challenges of climate change, reducing the carbon footprint.

The digital transition focuses on a digitalized visitor reception, with a more streamlined reservation and payment system and the development of tourism intelligence platforms and systems that help understand the real impact of visitors to the municipality.

Finally, the competition focuses on creating new sports infrastructure for active tourism, adapted to all audiences, thus increasing the range of tourism products and experiences that visitors and residents of the municipality can enjoy.

To date, all actions under the Sustainable Tourism Destination Plan have been initiated, and the various actions designed are currently underway.
