The City Council is preparing to request the new Neighborhoods and Towns Plan for a maximum of the 12 million euros
The council initiates a citizen process to learn about the concerns of residents and organizes up to 6 participatory sessions
The Generalitat de Catalunya will soon convene the first call for the new Neighborhoods and Towns Plan 2025-2029 for the urban, environmental and social improvement of neighborhoods and towns in Catalonia. This Plan aims to reduce territorial and social inequalities, improve living conditions and guarantee equitable access to basic services and decent housing, empower communities with active participation and build shared prosperity.
In order to gather the needs and possible actions to develop the comprehensive intervention report program, the City Council is initiating a citizen participation process. First, by calling on associations and municipal entities in two sessions scheduled at the Molí de l'Oli on September 3 and 4. The following week will be the turn of the sessions open to the public: on September 8 at the Molí de l'Oli, and on September 9 at the Holiday Area Services Building.
Neighborhood and Village Plan
For municipalities with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants, programs with a total budget of more than 3 million euros and less than 12.5 million euros may be eligible. In the event of receiving the subsidy, the actions must be carried out within a period of five years. In order to request the subsidy, a comprehensive intervention report program must be prepared that incorporates actions in each of the following three areas: physical transformations, ecological transition, socio-community action.
To meet the condition of special attention area, an average net income per person must be lower than the average for Catalonia, an indicator that the municipality of La Pobla de Segur meets since it has an average income of €15,078 and that of Catalonia is €15,519. A minimum score of 50 points must also be achieved on objective evaluation criteria included in the decree of the regulatory bases.
