Traders and Industrials Association of la Pobla de Segur (ACIP)

The ACIP, Traders and Industrials Association of la Pobla de Segur, was created in 1990 by a group of traders that wanted to invigorate the commercial network of la Pobla. The aims of the association are three: invigorate and promote local trade, taking part actively in popular activities and offering training to associates. ACIP is the association of traders with larger experience of Pallars region. They had a period of inactivity, from 1999 to 2003, but then a renewal of image and human team led the ACIP to one of the periods with more activity. Nowadays, the ACIP seeks for a renewal of the board and invites all the traders to take part of it, only like this they will be able to keep its flame.

During its life, ACIP has taken part in a bunch of local activities. They gave a new spirit to local Carnival encouraging the traders to disguise, as well as decorating the streets and shops. They also created commercial signaling for streets, training courses in English, informatics and window dressing, window dressing contests, commercial campaigns for Christmas, the “Shops in the street” event, and collaborations in the extinguished Promopallars fair, and other local festivities, such as Raiers or Festa Major. As a novelty, very soon you will be able to enjoy the new website of the ACIP, with information of all the trades associated and all the services that can find in la Pobla.
